Electro Explosive Device Training Course July 22-26, 2013

Location: Oaks, Pennsylvania, USA, the home of Franklin Applied Physics, Inc

Lectures:  9:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Thursday, and finishing at 2:00 PM on Friday

Cost:  US$1352.00

Note: This course is for electroexplosive device (EED) handlers, their supervisors, safety engineers, and instructors. It is also for designers, R&D personnel, quality control personnel, and inspectors. This year, we offer the course July 22-26, 2013. Next year this course will be July 28-Aug. 1, 2014.

UK Pyrochemistry Course

New course date is planned in the UK this 20th/21st/22nd March 2012.

This course will be run at Grafham Water Sailing Club, near Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. The venue is easily reached and a variety of local accommodation is available. Further details are available from Davas Ltd. Each course will run from 9 am to 5 pm all three days. It is also possible to arrange bespoke courses to be run at your site if this is of interest.

We are all looking forward to the High Energy Materials (HEMs) 2011 conference, which will take place from 3rd to 4th October 2011 and can’t wait to welcome you to La Rochelle (France) and the Espace Encan Conference Centre.

Please find below some information on the conference:

–       Registration: As 3AF is a non profit organization, in order to attend the conference each participant will need to be registered. Please click here for the registration to fill in and return to the 3AF Secretariat without delays by email, fax or postal mail. Please be reminded that registrations onsite are allowed.

–       Accommodation: All accommodation reservation is accessible online at www.hem2011.com. 3AF, in association with the La Rochelle tourist office, has made arrangements for a block of rooms at several La Rochelle hotels where rates have been especially negotiated for High Energy Materials 2011 delegates.  We strongly recommend booking your hotel early since another event will take place in the city at the same time. Hence, hotels located near the conference venue might be fully booked.

–       Visa application: In regards to visa application, you would need an invitation letter stating the purpose of your journey to France. The International Symposium on Fireworks Society in collaboration with the Malta Tourism Authority (MTA) and the Malta Fireworks Association (MFA), is organizing the 13th International Symposium on Fireworks. The International Symposium on Fireworks is recognized as the premier forum for the presentation of papers and the discussion of topics dealing with the safety, scientific, engineering, artistic, and regulatory aspects of fireworks and other pyrotechnics associated with entertainment and celebration.
Papers concerned with the following traditional areas are invited:
