Sorensen<\/font><\/strong><\/p>\n<p> <\/font><strong>Abstract:<\/strong> Safety constraints have traditionally presented researchers with challenges in testing the thermal&nbsp;conductivity of energetic powdered materials. Minimal volumes of energetic powders can now be tested with the modified transient plane source technique. The newly modified sensor design further reduces the possibility of impact, friction and electrostatic discharge (ESD) hazards.
